for a stroll through the city center. Here, you will explore landmarks such as Ponte Vecchio—home
to Florence’s jewelry shops—and Via dei Giudei (Street of the Jews), site of the first Jewish
settlement. You will also visit Piazza della Signoria and Piazza della Repubblica, where in the
fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, the Jewish ghetto once stood. Not far from the Duomo is a
