Bothadults and children can visit and enjoy the Lindt Home of Chocolate (the official name), which features the world's largest Lindt chocolate shop, the spectacular Lindt chocolate fountain, and an interactive tour about this delicacy considered part of Switzerland's cultural heritage.

Swiss chocolate is now famous worldwide, and this fame can be traced back to the work of local chocolatiers who were among themost innovative and active on the continent in the 19th century. Visiting the Lindt Chocolate Museum, you can trace the history of cocoa from its origins, when it was cultivated and used only by indigenous American populations, to its arrival at the main Europeancourts. But how did Switzerland become the "chocolate capital"?The answer seems to lie in the numerous Maîtres Chocolatiers whohave been very active in experimenting, conceiving, and creating chocolate masterpieces over the last centuries. Thanks to a multimedia and interactive journey, visitors start by discoveringcocoa beans at the origin of chocolate - those used by Lindt are now cultivated in selected plantations in Ghana. From African plantations, the product moves to Europe, and the visit continues by explainingall the work needed to transform beans into delicious products through innovative procedures and cutting-edge machinery. You can follow every phase of the process from fruit harvesting to theirtransformation into perfect bars and pralines, thanks to the work of Lindt Master Chocolatiers. The heart of the entire process is certainly the "pilot plant" where engineers and researchers work, showing what happens in the heart of the Lindt chocolate factory. During the visit, you can also admire the famous chocolate fountain, which at 9.3 meters high is truly an impressive work. At first glance, the structure seems apparently weightless, but it actually contains 1,400 kg of real chocolate.
