
INTERNATIONAL MUSEUM OF WATCHMAKING
Switzerland is famous for its watches, and naturally, it has a museum dedicated to the history of timekeeping. The Musée International d'Horlogerie (MIH, International Museum of Watchmaking) houses over 4,500 collection pieces, including 2,700 watches and 700 wall clocks. Here, the technical, artistic, social, and economic aspects ofwatchmaking history are dynamically illustrated.

The Patek Philippe Museum, inaugurated in November 2001, housesone of the world's largest and most prestigious watch collections. With approximately 2,500 timepieces, automata, precious objects, and miniature enamel portraits, it invites visitors to journey through five centuries of Genevan, Swiss, and European watchmaking art,while also showcasing Patek Philippe's production since 1839. The museum also houses a library with over 8,000 volumes about time and its measurement.
